Abstract
Un contactor (1) que comprende un primer miembro de contacto (3) fijado y conectado a un primer conductor (5) de un circuito eléctrico; un segundo miembro de contacto (7) conectado a un segundo conductor (9) del circuito eléctrico mediante un conector (11); en donde el segundo miembro de contacto se mueve entre una posición de interrupción, en la que el primer y segundo miembro de contacto están fuera de contacto, y una posición de formación, en la que el primer y segundo miembro de contacto están en contacto; un montaje de accionador (15) acoplado al segundo miembro de contacto de modo que el accionamiento del montaje de accionador se traduce en movimiento del segundo miembro de contacto; un arreglo electromagnético que comprende una bobina electromagnética (17) y al menos una parte del montaje de accionador, en donde, cuando la bobina se energiza, la bobina genera un campo magnético y, por 10 tanto, se hace que el montaje de accionamiento se mueva bajo la influencia de campo magnético, lo que a su vez hace que se mueva el segundo miembro de contacto; un recinto herméticamente sellable (2); en donde el primer y segundo miembro de contacto, el conector y el montaje de accionamiento están dentro del recinto; y la bobina está fuera del recinto.
