Abstract

La presente descripción se refiere a composiciones de poliamida y artículos moldeados por inyección resultantes que se pueden chapar, por ejemplo, revestirse con metal, para formar artículos moldeados por inyección estructuralmente estéticos; las composiciones de poliamida pueden incluir de 40% en peso a 80% en peso de una poliamida, de 0.5% en peso a 40% en peso de un llenador grabable al agua fuerte, de 5% en peso a 30% en peso de fibra de vidrio, opcionalmente menos de 40% en peso de un mineral semi-estructural y opcionalmente de 0.1% en peso a 13% en peso de un aditivo; la composición de poliamida imparte muy buena apariencia de superficie y excelentes propiedades mecánicas a los artículos moldeados por inyección que están sustancialmente libres de defectos visuales.
