Abstract

Se describe un aparato de calentamiento de gas combustible, en particular un aparato para calentar agua, que comprende: - un quemador principal (2) dispuesto en una cámara de combustión (3) del aparato, - un quemador piloto (4) adecuado para generar una llama piloto para encender el quemador principal (2), - un grupo de válvula (5) que comprende una válvula principal (6) dispuesta en un ducto principal (7) para suministrar el gas combustible al quemador principal, y una válvula piloto (8) dispuesta en el ducto principal (7), ascendente de la válvula principal, para suministrar gas al quemador piloto (4), un ducto piloto (9) que se ramifica de una porción (7a) del ducto principal (7) entre las válvulas piloto y principal con el fin de alimentar el gas al quemador piloto, - un sistema para controlar el suministro de gas a los quemadores principal y piloto, que incluyen una unidad de control electrónico (10) que está asociado operativamente con las válvulas principal y piloto, - un dispositivo de seguridad térmica (12) que puede activarse en la presencia de vapores inflamables en la cercanía del aparato y se diseña para apagar de manera segura el quemador principal (2) cuando se ha excedido un umbral de temperatura predeterminado en la cámara de combustión (3), - el quemador piloto (4) que se pretende como un quemador piloto continuo que tiene una llama permanente, - la válvula piloto (8) y la válvula principal (6) que son válvulas eléctricamente operadas, - una batería amortiguadora auxiliar (18) que pretende alimentar la unidad de control electrónica si hay una ausencia temporal de un suministro de energía de red eléctrica, de manera que al menos la válvula piloto (8) se alimente y opere, por medio de la unidad de control (10), como en el fin de asegurar que la llama piloto en el quemador piloto (4) se mantiene durante la ausencia temporal de un suministro de energía de red eléctrica.
