Abstract

Un núcleo de hierro para un transformador comprende una pluralidad de chapas de acero eléctrico de grano orientado apiladas juntas, donde al menos una de la pluralidad de chapas de acero eléctrico de grano orientado: (1) tiene una región en la cual se forman los dominios de cierre en una dirección que cruza una dirección de laminación y una región en la cual no se forman dominios de cierre; (2) tiene una relación de área R0 de 0.10% a 3.0%, siendo la relación de área R0 definida como una relación de S0 a S; y (3) tiene una relación de área R1a de 50% o más, siendo la relación de área R1a definida como una relación de S1a a S1, donde S es un área de la chapa de acero eléctrico de grano orientado, S1 es un área de la región en la cual se forman dominios de cierre, S0 es un área de la región en la cual no se forman dominios de cierre y S1a es, en la región en la cual se forman dominios de cierre, un área de una región en la cual una cantidad de expansión en un punto de desplazamiento máximo cuando se excita en la dirección de laminación a una densidad máxima de flujo magnético de 1.7 T y una frecuencia de 50 Hz es al menos 2 x 10-7 mayor que una cantidad de expansión en la región en la cual no se forman dominios de cierre.
