Abstract

En la presente se describe un sistema estructural para planta de proceso modular que incluye numerosos módulos, todos certificados por ISO conforme a ISO 1496 y capaces de contener dentro de todo el módulo por lo menos una pieza de equipo de una planta de producción química (o no química), capaces de ser embarcados o transportados individualmente; los módulos pueden ser apilados verticalmente, horizontalmente, o mezclados (en una disposición tanto vertical como horizontal); los módulos son prefabricados fuera del sitio, construidos con el equipo deseado dentro del módulo, preequipados con tubería, instrumentación y cableado eléctrico, y después los múltiples módulos son transportados en forma multimodal como contenedores ISO 1496 a la ubicación deseada y ensamblados para formar una planta; en general, dos o más módulos son conectados uno al otro para formar una planta completa; la planta puede ser de cualquier tipo, por ejemplo, química, mecánica/de producción, térmica, y similares, o de cualquier tamaño, por ejemplo, a escala de planta de producción, pequeña, micro o piloto; cuando ya no se necesita, la planta puede ser desensamblada y reutilizada en otro sitio o instalación.
