Abstract

Un sistema de purga de gas que comprende un tapón de purga de gas (10) para aplicaciones metalúrgicas y un tubo de suministro de gas (30) conectado con el tapón de purga de gas (10), el tapón de purga de gas (10) con un cuerpo refractario cerámico (10k) con un primer extremo (10u) y un segundo extremo (10o); el segundo extremo (10o) está, en la posición montada del tapón de purga de gas (10), en contacto con un fundido metálico (41); el primer extremo (10u) está recubierto al menos parcialmente con una cubierta metálica 12.1), la cubierta metálica (12.1) comprende una abertura (16) a la cual opcionalmente se conecta un adaptador de suministro de gas (20); el tapón de purga de gas (10) está diseñado de tal manera que un gas de purga, el cual se suministra a través del tubo de suministro de gas (30) a la abertura (16), fluye a través del cuerpo (10k) y sale del cuerpo (10k) en el segundo extremo (10o); y en donde por lo menos un sensor electrónico (70, 70.1, 70.2, 70.3, 70.4) está en contacto con el tapón de purga de gas (10) para detectar una forma de onda de oscilación de una vibración mecánica (81). El sistema de purga de gas comprende adicionalmente una unidad de procesamiento de datos (80) para adquirir la forma de onda de oscilación de una vibración mecánica (81) detectada por el sensor electrónico (70, 70.1, 70.2, 70.3, 70.4) del tapón de purga de gas (10) y para calcular una señal de índice de burbujas (83) a partir de la forma de onda de oscilación de una vibración mecánica (81) detectada; una unidad de control (100); en donde la unidad de control (100) está configurada para: desplegar la señal de índice de burbujas (83) y/o modificar el flujo volumétrico (102) a través del tubo de suministro de gas (30) dependiendo de la señal de índice de burbujas (83) y/o generar una señal de alerta (101) cuando la señal de índice de burbujas (83) está fuera de un intervalo definido.
