Abstract

Se incluyen composiciones, métodos y sistemas para mitigar la restauración de presión anular en un pozo. Un método ilustrativo comprende la introducción de un fluido espaciador en un espacio anular del pozo, en donde el fluido espaciador comprende un fluido de base acuosa, un polímero expandible ácido y un éster hidrolizable. El método comprende además permitir o generar que al menos una parte del fluido espaciador permanezca en el espacio anular; y permitir o generar que una temperatura aumente en el espacio anular a la temperatura suficiente para hidrolizar el éster hidrolizable; en donde la hidrólisis del éster hidrolizable produce un ácido; en donde el ácido reacciona con el polímero expandible ácido para producir una sal; y en donde la sal producida tiene un coeficiente de expansión térmica menor que el del fluido de base acuosa.
