Abstract

Una composición para el tratamiento de una formación subterránea se forma a partir de agua, un polímero soluble en agua y un sistema de reticulación. El sistema de reticulación utiliza 1) un agente de reticulación primario de al menos uno de una fuente de dialdehído benceno, un dioxano, y un trioxano, 2) un agente de reticulación orgánico secundario de baja temperatura que genera aldehído, y 3) una fuente de fenol. El sistema de reticulación proporciona a la composición un tiempo de gelificación retardado de aproximadamente 2 a aproximadamente 20 horas a temperaturas de aproximadamente 250°F (121°C) o superiores.
