Abstract

La presente invención se relaciona con una composición fotocrómica curable que incluye: (a) un compuesto fotocrómico y (b) un polímero segmentado que incluye grupos de hidrógeno activos, por lo menos un primer segmento y por lo menos un segundo segmento, en el cual: (i) cada primer segmento independientemente incluye un segmento de polímero (met)acrílico, y (ii) cada segundo segmento independientemente incluye por lo menos uno de un segmento de policarbonato, un segmento de poliéster, un segmento de poliéster, un segmento de poliuretano y combinaciones de dos o más de los mismos. La composición fotocrómica curable incluye además (c) un agente de curado que tiene grupos funcionales reactivos que son reactivos con los grupos de hidrógeno activos del polímero segmentado (a) en los cuales el agente de curado incluye por lo menos uno de un poliisocianato, un poliisotiocianato y un aminoplástico. La presente invención también se relaciona con artículos fotocrómicos que incluyen por lo menos una capa formada de la composición fotocrómica curable de la presente invención.
