Abstract
La invención se refiere a un ensamble de cables tipo cinta de fibras ópticas que comprende lo siguiente: *una pluralidad de cables tipo cinta de fibras ópticas adyacentes que se extienden en una dirección longitudinal y se disponen en un plano, donde cada uno de los cables tipo cinta de fibras ópticas comprende una pluralidad de fibras ópticas mutuamente unidas por medio de un material matricial, en donde las fibras se extienden en la dirección longitudinal y se disponen en el plano; donde dicha pluralidad de cintas adyacentes forman al menos un conjunto de dos cables tipo cinta adyacentes que tienen un intersticio entre dichos dos cables tipo cinta adyacentes, y *un material adhesivo, que forma uniones intermitentes en el intersticio entre los dos cables tipo cinta adyacentes de un conjunto, por medio de las cuales se unen los dos cables tipo cinta adyacentes del conjunto. La invención también se refiere a un método para producir un ensamble de cables tipo cinta de fibras ópticas de este tipo.
