Abstract
En un método para medir la radiación, la radiación es temporal y/o espacialmente separado por un modulador para dirigir al menos N combinaciones diferentes de radiación incidente sobre cada región en al menos dos y menos de N direcciones distintas. La intensidad total de radiación en cada dirección se mide con un detector para cada configuración del modulador y las salidas del detector se analizan estadísticamente para obtener información relativa a las propiedades espectrales de la radiación. De este modo sustancialmente la totalidad de la energía recibida en la abertura de entrada de un dispositivo de medición se codifica en múltiples salidas y la salida multiplexada es recibida por un pequeño número de detectores.
