Abstract
Se describen procedimientos para el diagnóstico o pronóstico de la resistencia a insulina en pacientes diabéticos y prediabéticos, el método que comprende la determinación de la cantidad de insulina y péptido C en una muestra. En este documento se proporcionan métodos de espectrometría de masas para detectar y cuantificar insulina y péptido C en una muestra biológica que utiliza métodos de enriquecimiento y/o purificación junto con técnicas de espectrometría de masas en tándem o de alta resolución/alta precisión.
