Abstract

Se describe un copolímero de injerto anfifílico novedoso. También se describe un proceso para hacer copolímeros de injerto anfifílicos mediante el injerto de cadenas laterales de poli(óxido de etileno) o poliláctido en una plataforma de EVA utilizando química de polimerización de apertura de anillo oxo- niónica. Los copolímeros de injerto a base de polietileno o polipropileno se preparan a partir de polipropileno isotáctico injertado de poli(etilen-co-vinil acetato) o anhídrido maleico, respectivamente. El carácter anfifílico resultará de la incorporación de cadenas laterales de poli(óxido de etileno) hidrofílico (PEO). También se describen diversas aplicaciones de los copolímeros de injerto anfifílicos novedosos que incluyen, pero no se limitan a, elastómero termoplástico, películas, fibras, telas, geles, materiales de embalaje transpirable, aditivo para sistemas biodegradables, surfactante, aditivos antiestáticos, compatibilizantes de polímeros, catalizadores de transferencia de fase, electrólitos de polímero sólido, polímeros biocompatibles o incorporación en los materiales indicados anteriormente.
