Abstract
De conformidad con algunas modalidades, un método para usarse en un nodo de red para realizar el traspaso de un dispositivo inalámbrico comprende: recibir una solicitud de traspaso desde un nodo de red de origen; recibir, desde el nodo de la red de origen, un mapeo de flujo de calidad de servicio (QoS) a un portador de radio de datos (DRB) que fue usado por el nodo de red de origen antes del traspaso; recibir unidades de datos de protocolo (PDU) del Protocolo de Convergencia de Datos en Paquetes (PDU) almacenadas en memoria intermedia del nodo de la red de origen; transmitir las PDU de PDCP recibidas usando el mapeo de flujo de QoS al DRB recibido; obtener una indicación de que el traspaso está completo; determinar un nuevo mapeo de flujo de QoS al DRB; y activar el nuevo mapeo de flujo de QoS al DRB para la transmisión de PDU del PDCP. Modalidades particulares pueden incluir enviar el nuevo mapeo de flujo de QoS al DRB en el nodo de red de origen, y/o recibir informes de estado de PDCP desde el dispositivo inalámbrico.
