Abstract
Se proporciona un acero inoxidable ferrítico para sistemas de escape automotriz con mejor resistencia al calor y resistencia a la corrosión de condensado, y un método para la fabricación del mismo. El acero inoxidable ferrítico de acuerdo con una modalidad ejemplar de la presente invención incluye un material de base de acero inoxidable que comprende, en % en peso, C: 0.01% o menos, Si: 0.5 a 1.0%, Mn: 0.5% o menos, P: 0.035% o menos, S: 0.01% o menos, Cr: 11 a 18%, N: 0.013% o menos, Ti: 0.15 a 0.5%, Sn: 0.03 a 0.5%, y el resto de Fe y otras impurezas inevitables, así como una capa chapada en Al formada en el material de base de acero inoxidable, en donde el acero inoxidable ferrítico comprende un compuesto de recubrimiento que comprende (Al19FeMnSi2)5,31 (Aluminio-Hierro-Siliciuro de Manganeso) en una interfaz entre el material de base de acero inoxidable y la capa chapada en Al.
