Abstract
La invención se refiere a un proceso integrado para la producción de etileno y acetato de vinilo (VAM), que comprende poner en contacto en una primera zona de reacción una corriente de gas que comprende etano y opcionalmente etileno con una corriente de gas que contiene oxígeno en presencia de un catalizador de oxideshidrogención en condiciones de deshidrogenación oxidativa para producir una primera corriente de producto que comprende etano, etileno, ácido acético y agua, y opcionalmente otros compuestos, separar la primera corriente de producto en una unidad de permeación de vapor en una segunda corriente que comprende agua y una tercera corriente que comprende etano, etileno, ácido acético y, opcionalmente, otros compuestos gaseosos, poner en contacto en una segunda zona de reacción toda o al menos una parte de la tercera corriente con una corriente que comprende ácido acético concentrado y con una corriente de gas que contiene oxígeno en presencia de un catalizador de VAM, para producir una cuarta corriente de producto que comprende acetato de vinilo, ácido acético, etano, etileno, agua, dióxido de carbono y, opcionalmente, otros compuestos, separar la cuarta corriente de producto en una zona de separación de acetato de vinilo en una quinta corriente que comprende acetato de vinilo, ácido acético, agua y opcionalmente otros compuestos condensables, y una sexta corriente que comprende etileno, etano, dióxido de carbono y opcionalmente otros compuestos gaseosos, y recuperar acetato de vinilo de la quinta corriente. La invención se refiere además a un sistema de reacción para llevar a cabo el proceso.
