Abstract

En la presente se divulgan materiales ceramicos compuestos los cuales comprenden dos o mas fases cristalinas, en donde una primera fase cristalina comprende un primer material refractario que tiene un primer punto de fusion, y una segunda fase cristalina comprende un segundo material refractario que tiene un segundo punto de fusion que es mas bajo que el primer punto de fusion, y la segunda fase cristalina comprende grandes tamanos de dominio del segundo material refractario; los articulos que comprenden un material ceramico compuesto de este tipo, tales como cuerpos de panal de abeja, sustratos cataliticos y filtros de particulas, tambien se divulgan en la presente, ademas de los metodos de fabricacion de los mismos.
