Abstract

La presente invención se refiere a un método para monitorear la calidad del agua en una red de suministro de agua, el método incluye: proporcionar una pluralidad de unidades de sensores en ubicaciones predefinidas a lo largo de la red de suministro de agua; monitorear el agua en la red de suministro de agua con las unidades de sensores para recibir valores de sensores detectados; comunicar los valores de sensores detectados de la pluralidad de unidades de sensores a un servidor de computadora en tiempo real; analizar los valores de sensores en el servidor de computadora para detectar cambios en la calidad del agua que se mueve entre las unidades de sensores; y producir datos en tiempo real desde el servidor de computadora a una interfaz de usuario del sistema de información geográfica (GIS) o una interfaz gráfica de usuario (GUI).
