Abstract

Se describe un método para fabricar dispositivos y sistemas de microagujas y herramientas para su implementación. El método puede incluir la fabricación de un molde de réplica y la formación de una matriz de microagujas a través del molde de réplica. El molde de réplica se puede fabricar mediante la colocación del material del molde de réplica en un molde maestro y curando el material del molde de réplica. Para reducir el tiempo de fabricación, el material del molde de réplica se cura preferiblemente a alta temperatura durante un tiempo relativamente corto y luego se enfría rápidamente antes de retirarlo del molde maestro. La matriz de microagujas se puede formar al disponer el material de la microaguja en el molde de réplica al vacío y secar el material de la microaguja en operaciones de colocación y secado individuales o sucesivas. Una o más capas de respaldo opcionales se pueden agregar a la matriz de microagujas al formar el dispositivo de microaguja.
