Abstract

Un condensador de vapor industrial enfriado por aire, de campo a gran escala que tiene 10 paquetes de intercambiadores de calor por celda dispuestos en cinco pares en forma de V, cada paquete de intercambiadores de calor tiene cuatro intercambiadores de calor principales y cuatro intercambiadores de calor secundarios en donde cada intercambiador de calor secundario se parea con un intercambiador de calor principal único. Se disponen cuatro condensadores principales de manera que los tubos son horizontales, mientras que los colectores de vapor de entrada en un extremo de los tubos son perpendiculares a los tubos del condensador principal, es decir, paralelos al eje transversal del paquete. El vapor entra por los colectores de vapor de entrada pequeños desde abajo. Las dimensiones de la sección transversal de los tubos son de 200 mm de ancho con una altura de sección transversal inferior a 10 mm con aletas de 10 mm de altura, dispuestas de 9 a 12 aletas por cada 25.4 mm (1 pulgada).
