Abstract
Se proporciona un método para operar un esquema de protección diferencial reconfigurable para llevar a cabo protección diferencial de una red de energía eléctrica (10), la red de energía eléctrica (10) comprende una pluralidad de terminales (12, 14, 16, 18), cada una de la pluralidad de terminales (12, 14, 16, 18) se configura para estar en comunicación con cada otra de la pluralidad de terminales (12, 14, 16, 18) dentro de una red de comunicaciones, el método comprende los pasos de: controlar el esquema de protección diferencial para desactivar la protección diferencial; seleccionar una terminal (14) que se va a configurar afuera de o adentro del esquema de protección diferencial; comunicar la información de reconfiguración entre la pluralidad de terminales (12, 14, 16, 18) por medio de la red de comunicaciones, la información de reconfiguración incluye la selección de la terminal (14) que se va a configurar afuera de o adentro del esquema de protección diferencial, en donde la red de comunicaciones es cualquiera de: una red de comunicaciones en cadena; una red de comunicaciones en anillo; una red de comunicaciones en malla; una red de comunicaciones en estrella; una red de comunicaciones en bus; una red de comunicaciones en árbol; o un híbrido de las mismas; después de comunicar la información de reconfiguración entre la pluralidad de terminales (12, 14, 16, 18), modificar un algoritmo de protección diferencial respectivo en cada una de las terminales no seleccionadas (12, 16, 18) para configurar la terminal seleccionada (14) afuera de o adentro del esquema de protección diferencial; y controlar el esquema de 20 protección diferencial para reactivar la protección diferencial.
