Abstract

En la presente se describe un material de beta glucano, que comprende 1, 3-1, 6 beta glucano sólido, que cuando se solubiliza, de acuerdo con un proceso de solubilización especificado, tiene un índice de filtrabilidad inferior a aproximadamente 1.5. En la presente se describe adicionalmente un material de beta glucano donde se puede recuperar más del 50% de la viscosidad final después de realizar un procedimiento de solubilización especificado para una pasada y más del 70% después de dos pasadas. En la presente también se describe un material de beta glucano que cuando se solubiliza, de acuerdo con un procedimiento de solubilización especificado, tiene menos del 10% de perdida de viscosidad durante la filtración.
