Abstract
Se describen un sistema amplificador de potencia modular (100) y un dispositivo electrónico que comprende el sistema amplificador de potencia modular. El sistema amplificador de potencia modular (100) comprende una pluralidad de módulos amplificadores (111, 121, 131, 132, 1i1). La pluralidad de módulos amplificadores está dispuesta en varias secciones que comprenden una primera sección que comprende un primer módulo amplificador (111) configurado para recibir la señal de entrada dentro de un primer rango de amplitud y proveer una señal de salida que tiene una primera potencia de salida (P1); una segunda sección que comprende un segundo módulo amplificador (121) configurado para recibir la señal de entrada dentro de un segundo rango de amplitud y proveer una señal de salida que tiene una segunda potencia de salida (P2); y una i-ésima sección que comprende múltiples módulos amplificadores (1i1), cada uno estando configurado para recibir la señal de entrada dentro de un cierto rango de amplitud y proveer una señal de salida que tiene una cierta potencia de salida (Pi) . Las señales de salida de los módulos amplificadores se combinan para proveer señales de salida con potencia de salida escalable.
