Abstract
Un sistema de impacto de flama directo para precalentar pelotillas o pellets de metal antes de la carga enm un horno de fusión, en donde las pelotillas se transportan por una banda transportadora a una canaleta que descarga en el horno de fusión, que incluye una campana de precalentador revestida con material refractario que incluye una campana de canaleta que cubre la canaleta y una campana de transportador que cubre por lo menos una porción de la banda transportadora, la campana de precalentador que tiene un extremo de entrada a través del cual entran las pelotillas y un extremo de salida a través del cual salen las pelotillas hacia el horno de fusión, y por lo menos un banco de quemadores cada uno que contiene por lo menos un quemador dispuesto en la campana posicionado para dirigir las flamas en contacto con las pelotillas que son transportadas para precalentar las pelotillas antes de la descarga en el horno de fusión.
