Abstract
La invención actual se refiere a un grano de arroz con aleurona engrosada. También se proporciona una planta de arroz que comprende al menos una variación genética que reduce la actividad de al menos un gen ROS1 en la planta. El grano de la invención, o aleurona del mismo, tiene propiedades nutricionales mejoradas, y por lo tanto es particularmente útil para productos alimenticios para humano y animal.
