Abstract
La presente divulgación se refiere a métodos, dispositivos o corrientes para codificar, transmitir y decodificar nubes de puntos bidimensionales. Cuando se codifican nubes de puntos como tramas, no se utiliza un número grande de píxeles. Un operador de mapeo denso optimiza el uso de píxeles pero requiere que muchos de los datos sean codificados en la corriente y su operador inverso es difícil de calcular. De acuerdo con los presentes principios, un operador de mapeo simplificado es generado de acuerdo con un operador de mapeo denso y es almacenado como matrices de coordenadas bidimensionales representativas de una rejilla desdoblada la cual requiere poco espacio en la corriente. El operador inverso es fácil de generar de acuerdo con la rejilla desdoblada.
