Abstract

La invención trata sobre un método y lí­nea de revisión de un neumático (2) para ruedas del vehí­culo en donde se pretende determinar si el neumático (2) está hecho de acuerdo con un modelo conocido entre una variedad de modelos conocidos. Si el neumático (2) está hecho de acuerdo con un modelo conocido, el neumático (2) se inspecciona en busca de cualquier defecto de fabricación mediante la obtención de datos representativos de al menos parte de la superficie del neumático (2) mediante un conjunto de dispositivos de adquisición de imagen (282) establecidos de acuerdo con una configuración asociada con el modelo conocido del neumático. Si el neumático (2) está hecho de acuerdo con un modelo desconocido, se llevan a cabo los siguientes pasos en sucesión: * obtención de un primer perfil (300) del neumático (2), donde la adquisición del primer perfil consta de obtener al menos una primera parte (301, 302) del primer perfil (300) a travós de los primeros dispositivos de adquisición de perfil (280) colocados de acuerdo con posiciones predeterminadas; * determinar una configuración para los segundos dispositivos de adquisición de perfil )278) con base en el primer perfil (300) adquirido; * obtener un segundo perfil (400) del neumático (2) a travós de los segundos dispositivos de adquisición de perfil (278) establecidos de acuerdo con la configuración determinada respectiva; * determinar una configuración para el conjunto de dispositivos de adquisición de imagen (282) con base en el segundo perfil (400) adquirido; * catalogar el modelo desconocido como un modelo conocido y agregarlo a la variedad de modelos conocidos, asociando la configuración determinada de esa manera.
