Abstract
En la presente se describe un sistema y un método para curar o secar hojas de tabaco. El método incluye hacer fluir un primer gas de combustión generado por una primera fuente de calor a través de un primer conducto de humos proporcionado dentro de un primer granero para calentar el aire dentro del primer granero para curar un primer lote de hojas de tabaco dispuesto dentro del primer granero; transferir al menos una parte del primer gas de combustión generado por la primera fuente de calor hasta un segundo conducto de humos proporcionado dentro de un segundo granero adyacente al primer granero para calentar el segundo granero y comenzar el curado de un segundo lote de hojas de tabaco dispuesto dentro del segundo granero; y hacer fluir el segundo gas de combustión generado por una segunda fuente de calor a través del segundo conducto de humos para continuar el curado del segundo lote de hojas de tabaco después de calentar el segundo granero.
