Abstract

Se proporcionan en la presente aparatos, componentes y métodos útiles para proporcionar asistencia a clientes y/o trabajadores en una instalación de compras. En algunas modalidades, un sistema de asistencia personal de instalación de compras comprende: una pluralidad de unidades motorizadas de transporte ubicadas en y configuradas para moverse a través de un espacio de la instalación de compras; una pluralidad de unidades de interfaz de usuario, cada una correspondiendo a una unidad motorizada de transporte respectiva durante el uso de la unidad motorizada de la unidad motorizada de transporte respectivamente central informático que tiene una interfaz de red de manera que el sistema central informático se comunica de manera inalámbrica con una o ambas de la pluralidad de unidades motorizadas de transporte y la pluralidad de unidades de interfaz de usuario, en donde el sistema central informático se configura para controlar el movimiento de la pluralidad de unidades motorizadas de transporte a través del espacio de instalaciones de compras basándose al menos en entradas de la pluralidad de unidades de interfaz de usuario.
