Abstract

Se describe un método y sistema (100) para procesar biomasa. El sistema comprende una central de cogeneración (102), una interconexión (114) para la alimentación de biogás a una unidad productora de combustible para tránsito vehicular, interconexiones (114) a un sistema de calefacción urbana (106a) y una red eléctrica (106b), y un dispositivo para hidrólisis (108), un dispositivo digestor (110), un secador (116) y una unidad de recuperación de calor (112), que se acoplan funcionalmente para transferir calor, productos intermedios y productos finales del proceso, en donde la biomasa sin procesar se recibe en el dispositivo para hidrólisis (108), la biomasa procesada mediante el dispositivo para hidrólisis (108) se alimenta al dispositivo digestor (110), el biogás obtenido en el dispositivo digestor (110) se alimenta a la unidad productora de combustible para tránsito vehicular (104), el calor se recupera a partir del dispositivo para hidrólisis (108), la biomasa procesada mediante el dispositivo digestor (110) se seca mediante el calor recuperado a partir del dispositivo para hidrólisis (108), el calor se recupera a partir del secador (116), el calor recuperado a partir del secador (116) se alimenta al dispositivo para hidrólisis (108) para usarse en el precalentamiento de biomasa recibida sin procesar, el calor recuperado a partir del secador (116) se alimenta a la calefacción urbana (106a), y la generación de electricidad se abastece de combustible mediante la biomasa deshidratada del secador (116).
