Abstract

Los principios y formas de realización de la presente invención se relacionan en general con sistemas y métodos para aplicar un recubrimiento catalítico a los bordes que están hacia afuera de las paredes de las celdas de un sustrato catalítico para reducir la cantidad de hollín que se acumula en las entradas de las celdas del sustrato que puede aumentar la presión retrógrada y reducir el flujo de los gases de escape a través del sustrato.
