Abstract
Los aceites de plantas y grasas animales se hidrolizan para obtener ácidos grasos para una reacción de kolbe. La invención se refiere a un proceso de reacción de Kolbe de alta productividad para descarboxilar electroquímicamente ácidos grasos CA-C28 usando pequeñas cantidades de ácido acético para reducir el voltaje de pasivación anódica y sintetizar hidrocarburos C6-C54. C6-C54 se someten a un proceso de reacción de metátesis olefínica y/o hidroisomerización para sintetizar productos de fuelóleo pesado, combustible diésel, combustible queroseno, aceite básico lubricante y alfaolefina lineal útiles como precursores para polímeros, detergentes y otros productos químicos refinados.
