Abstract
Se describe un tanque de expansión que tiene una cavidad interna separada mediante un diafragma flexible para formar una parte de gas presurizado superior y una parte de fluido inferior, y un indicador posicionado en una parte superior del tanque de expansión en comunicación con los contenidos de la parte de gas presurizada superior. El indicador se configura de forma tal que muestra un primer color si las condiciones de funcionamiento son normales en la parte de gas presurizado y un segundo color si la cantidad de humedad detectada en la parte de gas presurizada es mayor que o igual a una cantidad predeterminada. Adicionalmente, se describe un método para la detección de si existe una cantidad excesiva de humedad en una parte de gas presurizada de un tanque de expansión, permitiendo que el gas presurizado de la parte de gas presurizado entre en contacto con el indicador y observar el color mostrado por el indicador.
