Abstract
Una membrana compuesta para la pervaporación selectiva de un primer líquido de una mezcla que comprende el primer líquido y un segundo líquido. La membrana compuesta incluye un sustrato poroso que comprende una primera y una segunda superficie mayor opuesta y una pluralidad de poros. Se dispone un polímero para el llenado de los poros en al menos algunos de los poros de manera tal que se forme una capa con un grosor dentro del sustrato poroso. El polímero es más permeable al primer líquido que al segundo líquido, pero no es soluble en el primer líquido ni en el segundo líquido.
