Abstract

Se describe una composición cementosa que incluye al menos un material cementoso y al menos una mezcla reductora de grietas que incluye: (i) de 0 a aproximadamente 5 por ciento en peso de al menos un alcohol, basado en el peso total de la mezcla que excluye agua; y (ii) un compuesto que tiene la estructura química de la fórmula (III): en donde: v es un número entero de 0 a 50 y w es un número entero de 0 a 50, con la condición de que la suma de v y w sea al menos 1 pero no mayor que 50. También, se describen métodos para preparar la composición cementosa, reducir o eliminar la formación de grietas en una composición cementosa conforme la composición cementosa se cura, y limitar el tamaño de grietas que se forman en una composición cementosa conforme la composición cementosa se cura usando una mezcla para las composiciones cementosas como se describe en la presente.
