Abstract

Un procedimiento para evaluar el riesgo de cáncer de pulmón mediante la generación de un conjunto de características que comprenden una pluralidad de resultados actuales de análisis de sangre de una sangre extraída de un individuo diana, proporcionando al menos un clasificador generado de acuerdo con un análisis de una pluralidad de resultados históricos de análisis de sangre respectivos de cada uno de otra pluralidad de individuos sometidos a muestreo, y evaluar, usando un procesador, un riesgo de cáncer de pulmón de dicho individuo diana mediante la clasificación de dicho conjunto de características usando dicho al menos un clasificador. Cada una de dicha pluralidad de resultados de análisis de sangre históricos y actuales comprende resultados de uno o más análisis de sangre seleccionados tales como resultados de análisis de sangre glóbulos blancos, resultados del análisis de bioquímica, resultados del análisis de sangre plaquetario que incluye al menos uno de recuento plaquetario y volumen plaquetario medio (VPM) y/o una combinación de historia de tabaquismo y resultados de análisis de glóbulos rojos.
