Abstract
Se revela un proceso de polimerización en solución que consume menos energía, que comprende: inyectar alimentaciones a uno o más reactores para formar un polietileno en una sola fase líquida u opcionalmente dos fases líquidas; desactivar la fase líquida individual o fase líquida doble; un primer separador de V/L separa la fase desactivada en una primera corriente del fondo y una primera corriente de salida de vapor; la primera corriente de salida de vapor pasa a una columna de destilación y la primera corriente del fondo entra a un segundo separador de V/L, formando una segunda corriente de salida de vapor y una segunda corriente del fondo; la segunda corriente del fondo entra a un tercer separador de V/L, formando una tercera corriente de salida de vapor y una tercera corriente del fondo; la tercera corriente del fondo pasa a la recuperación del polímero; las segundas y terceras corrientes de salida de vapor son combinadas, condensadas y purificadas, formando un solvente purificado que es reciclado a los reactores.
