Abstract
Un método para calificar la efectividad del conductor en base a datos del vehículo comparados con otros vehículos que se han conducido por el mismo segmento de la carretera incluye almacenar datos de velocidad de conducción por un segmento de la carretera para una pluralidad de vehículos. El método además incluye calcular un perfil de velocidad nominal para el segmento de la carretera en base a los datos de velocidad de conducción; El método además incluye comparar un perfil de velocidad de un vehículo sujeto con el perfil de velocidad nominal para el segmento de la carretera y mostrar una calificación de suavidad del vehículo sujeto en base a la desviación del perfil de velocidad con respecto al perfil de velocidad nominal.
