Abstract
Un método para la formación de juntas de montaje de alta temperatura entre dos secciones de tubería aisladas, y un conducto aislado que posee una junta de montaje de baja temperatura. El conducto comprende un tubo de acero con un revestimiento contra la corrosión y una capa de aislamiento de tubo que comprende una composición de polímero que posee conductividad térmica menor a aproximadamente 0.40W/mk, y/o resistencia al calor de temperaturas de operación continua desde aproximadamente 150°C por sobre aproximadamente 205°C. Luego de que se forma una junta de soldadura circunferencial entre los dos tubos, una primera capa de aislamiento de junta de montaje se aplica sobre el área de unión, la primera capa de aislamiento de junta de montaje comprende una composición de polímero que posee resistencia al calor de temperaturas de operación continua desde aproximadamente 150°C hasta por sobre aproximadamente 205°C.
