Abstract

The invention relates to a device (1) for lifting a ladle (9) for treating liquid metal (8) in the ladle (9) by means of a treatment unit (3), wherein the device (1) has two cross-beams (5) movably mounted on at least three metal struts (2), wherein the metal struts (2) are each provided on one end for fixing in a base (20), wherein the cross-beams (5) are each mounted so as to be movable in the vertical direction on two of the metal struts (2), wherein the cross-beams (5) each have a ladle-receiving element (7) by means of which the ladle (9) can be received, wherein at least one positioning means (4) is provided for orientation of the ladle-receiving element (7), wherein in each case at least one positioning element (4) is provided for positioning of the cross-beam (5), wherein each positioning element (4) is on the one hand either fastened to one of the metal struts (2) and/or can be set up and/or fixed on the base (20) and on the other hand is fastened to one of the cross-beams (5) in such a way that a change of position of the ladle (9) can be effected by means of the cross-beams (5), and wherein the cross-beams (5) are disposed and movable independently of one another.
