Abstract
Un sistema para determinar la posición angular de un motor sincrónico incluye un codificador con una rueda de fricción que embraga la superficie giratoria del motor. La rueda de fricción se gira mediante la rotación del motor, y el codificador genera una señal correspondiente a la posición angular de la rueda de fricción. Se proporciona un sensor independiente para generar un impulso una vez por revolución del motor. El sensor independiente detecta la presencia de un objetivo sobre la superficie giratoria del motor y genera el impulso cuando el objetivo se encuentra próximo al sensor. Un controlador recibe la señal correspondiente a la posición angular de la rueda de fricciona si como el impulso generado por el sensor independiente para determinar la posición angular del motor. El controlador compensa la posición angular del motor cada vez que se genera el impulso, corrigiendo el error de posición acumulado.
