Abstract
Esta soldadura por puntos indirecta es para soldar miembros que incluyen por lo menos dos láminas de acero superpuestas que tienen una fase de ferrita como una fase principal al sujetar un electrodo de soldadura (23) contra una lámina de acero (21) desde un lado mientras se aplica presión con el electrodo (23), acoplar un punto de alimentación (24) a una lámina de acero (22) en el otro lado en una ubicación remota desde el electrodo (23), y permitir que fluya corriente entre el electrodo (23) y el punto de alimentación (24). Esta soldadura incluye poner en contacto cuerpos rígidos magnéticos (26-1, 26-2) con un área periférica del electrodo (23) desde dicho un lado contra el cual se sujeta el electrodo (23) y asegurar una región superpuesta en el área periférica del electrodo (23) mediante una fuerza magnética producida por los cuerpos rígidos (26-1, 26-2), obteniendo de ese modo una soldadura que tiene una resistencia plenamente satisfactoria, independientemente de la rigidez de los miembros.
