Abstract

The present invention relates to the technical filed of compressor fittings, and in particular to a liquid accumulator for a compressor. The liquid accumulator for a compressor comprises a liquid accumulator housing, the liquid accumulator housing consisting of at least two housing segments (1, 2, 3) welded by electric resistance welding, welding ends (10, 20, 21, 30) being provided in the housing segments and the two adjacent housing segments being welded at the welding ends (10, 20, 21, 30), the welding ends (10, 20, 21, 30) of the segments of the liquid accumulator housing being welded by electric resistance welding, a welding connection portion enabling the electric resistance welding is provided between the welding ends (10, 20, 21, 30) of the two adjacent housing segments of the liquid accumulator housing; and the contact surface between at least one of the welding ends (10, 20, 21, 30) of the two adjacent housing segments and the welding connection portion is smaller than the contact surface between the welding ends (10, 20, 21, 30) of the two adjacent housing segments. The liquid accumulator for a compressor can effectively save the cost of welding and improve the welding efficiency, while ensuring the welding firmness.
