Abstract

The invention relates to a method and tooling for manufacturing prestressed concrete members by molding, including the assembly of a rebar cage (20) outside a mold (10), with the inclusion of prestressing tendons (30) fixed in a position coinciding with, or proximal to the final position thereof with respect to the rebar cage (20). The rebar cage (20), together with the tendons, is introduced into a mold, the tendons extending along the length of the mold, with two gripping portions (31) for each tendon projecting from the mold (10) through two facing opposing faces (11) of the mold (10). The gripping portions are then introduced into elongate openings defined by separation gaps existing between parallel and opposing walls (42) forming part of at least two prestressing masts (40). Subsequently, the tendons are tensioned, and the concrete member to be manufactured undergoes concreting and setting.
