Abstract
The present invention relates to a roof or subfloor structure on the basis of lightweight blocks and to a construction system. The subfloor structure or floor is formed by light-weight prismatic filler bricks or blocks. It comprises two recesses at the lower ends which merge into two wings, one at each end of the filler brick. The wings form an extension of the flat base. The successive arrangement of the filler bricks forms a groove between adjacent bricks in which a complementary metallic structure is placed, creating longitudinal reinforcements. Second blocks, which are also prismatic and hollow, with an open upper face with a U-shaped cross-section, form a channel and, like the filler bricks, comprise two end wings. These second blocks are placed after every five filler bricks to reinforce the subfloor structure transversely. In the construction system, the possibility is provided of arranging the filler bricks and the second U-shaped blocks so that they are directly supported by the wings thereof on rows of mainstays or directly on a structural element of the building. A reinforcement mesh covers the top surface of both types of blocks and finally, the concrete compression layer is poured, forming a monolithic subfloor structure reinforced in two directions.
