Abstract
Se describe un método para sintetizar un furandicarboxilato por reacción del ácido 2,5-furandicarboxílico (FDCA) con un alcohol o mezcla de alcoholes en una atmósfera predominantemente de CO2 sin que haya presente ningún otro catalizador ácido. La reacción se lleva a cabo en condiciones que corresponden a temperaturas y presiones supercríticas, críticas o cuasicríticas para la especie alcohólica y/o el CO2 gaseoso.
