Abstract

La presente invención se refiere a una nueva familia de zeolitas de aluminosilicato designada UZM-44, así como también a un proceso para la síntesis de las mismas. Estas zeolitas están representadas por la fórmula empírica: NanMmk+TtAl1-xExSiyOz en donde "n" es la relación molar de Na a (Al + E), M representa un metal o metales seleccionados del grupo que consiste de zinc, del Grupo 1 (IUPAC 1), Grupo 2 (IUPAC 2), Grupo 3 (IUPAC 3) y la serie de los lantánidos de la tabla periódica, "m" es la relación molar de M a (Al + E), "k" es la carga media del metal o metales M, T es el agente o agentes orgánicos direccionadores de la estructura y E es un elemento de estructura como el galio. Estas zeolitas son similares a la IM-5, pero se caracterizan por sus composiciones únicas y por sus procedimientos de síntesis y tienen propiedades catalíticas para llevar a cabo varios procesos de conversión de hidrocarburos y propiedades de separación para la realización de diversas separaciones.
