Abstract

Sistema de inspección para identificar defectos en los cordones trenzados y corregirlos durante un proceso de trenzado en una máquina de trenzado, es cual está conformado por: medios de captura de imágenes computarizados y una interfaz de usuario, dichos medios de captura de imágenes comprenden: una pluralidad de medios de captura de imagen, configuradas para observar el cordón trenzado desde varios ángulos; una pluralidad de fuentes emisoras de luz, opuestas 180° a dicha pluralidad de medios de captura de imagen, para capturar las imágenes a contraluz; y una computadora de uso industrial que comprende un sistema de procesamiento de imagen y una sistema de almacenamiento configurados para recibir las imágenes capturadas por cada uno de los medios de captura de imagen y realizar un análisis de las mismas para identificar de forma automática los defectos o irregularidades en el cordón, al analizar el diámetro aparente del cordón en cada imagen; un controlador conectado operativamente al sistema de procesamiento de tal forma que cuando es detectada una falla, dicho controlador emite una señal de paro al sistema de procesamiento, el cual detiene el proceso de trenzado, para iniciar un proceso de reversa o inversión del trenzado para destrenzar el cordón hasta el punto de falla y corregir la falla o irregularidad al reanudar la operación de trenzado.
