Abstract

Sistema de inspección para identificar defectos en los cordones trenzados y corregirlos durante un proceso de trenzado en una máquina de trenzado. El sistema comprende medios de captura de imagen dispuestos de manera radial sobre el cordón trenzado para observarlo desde varios ángulos; fuentes emisoras de luz opuestas a los medios de captura de imagen para capturar las imágenes a contraluz; y una computadora con una unidad de procesamiento configurada para recibir y analizar las imágenes capturadas por los medios de captura de imagen, identificando automáticamente los defectos en el cordón, al analizar el diámetro aparente del cordón en cada imagen; un controlador que emite una señal de paro cuando se detecta un defecto para detener el proceso de trenzado y corregir la irregularidad detectada.
