Abstract
An objective of the invention is to provide a method and apparatus for performing continuous integration. Specifically, according to a continuous integration request, execute corresponding first-level target test cases for target codes corresponding to the continuous integration request, wherein the first-level target test cases correspond to test resolution of first-level test against the continuous integration request. Merge target codes into corresponding first merged target codes after the first-level target test cases are executed successfully. According to the continuous integration request, execute corresponding second-level target test cases for the first merged target codes, wherein the second-level target test cases correspond to test resolution of second-level test against the continuous integration request. Compared with the prior art, through a multi-resolution-based test case architecture, automatic test case selection and implementation, flexible user interface, and an effective process check and control, the invention realizes highly automated overall software development and continuous integration process, thereby improves efficiency of continuous integration and enhances product development quality.
